
Holly Hunter is a BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying director and writer working in a distinctive style of absurdist realism. Based between London and Bristol, she is represented by Riff Raff Films.
Her debut short, Banana Boat, received prestigious Yarns funding and won the competition. Her films have since been showcased globally, with her most recent short, Perfect Nails, winning Best Comedy at the Montreal Film Festival. Her film CRUNCH, about loud crisp eaters, was featured in publications including It’s Nice That, under the headline: ‘Endure the Insufferable Sounds of Crunchy Snacks’.
Holly has been shortlisted for Channel 4’s New Writers’ Scheme and placed in the top 5% of the BBC Comedy Collective.
Alongside directing and writing, she works as a freelance creative, with a background at leading London agencies including Mother, Wieden+Kennedy
and BBH.
She draws obsessively to unwind.
